    DEVA-AAC collaborates with Andalusian universities coordinating initiatives of European Universities

    European Universities are transnational alliances that are intended to become the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity and revolutionizing the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. To achieve this importants tep forward, the European Commission is testing different cooperation models for European Universities with two calls for proposals under the Erasmus+ programme. Andalusian universities have successfully participated in this project leading three of the forty approved consortia: ARQUS (University of Granada), SEA-EU (University of Cádiz) and ULYSSEUS (University of Seville). These initiatives place Andalusia in the European leadership of university innovation.
    In order to support the universities in assuring the quality of all the activities and goals proposed in the consortia, DEVA-AAC has set up a working group with representatives of the three universities, which has started its work after a first meeting heldon 2 October 2020.

    DEVA participates in DEQAR, the Database of External Quality Assurance Reports in the EEES

    DEVA participates in DEQAR, the Database of External Quality Assurance Reports project launched by the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) thanks to the EU co-funding under Erasmus+ Programme. DEQAR provides in open access the reports and decisions on higher education institutions/programmes externally reviewed against the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG), by an EQAR-registered agency. DEQAR was conceived in the context of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) goal of automatic recognition.

    AAC-DEVA renews the inclusion on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR)

    AAC-DEVA received last June 24th the formal notification of the renewal of its inclusion on the European register of quality assurance agencies that comply with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education (ESG2015).

    During the meeting celebrated in June 22nd, the EQAR Register Committee decided that AAC-DEVA substantially complies with the ESG2015, after analysing the information generated during the external evaluation process conducted by ENQA and the additional information provided by AAC-DEVA.

    This is the second renewal of AAC-DEVA inclusion on EQAR since its initial register in 2009.

    The Director and the Coordinator of the International Relations Area have attended the ENQA General Assembly held online on April 29, 2020

    The Director and the Coordinator of the International Relations Area have attended the ENQA General Assembly held online on April 29, 2020, replacing the annual meeting of the ENQA Members Forum that was to be held on the same date in Istanbul (Turkey) and that it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis.

    Among other issues, the consolidated version of the Strategic Plan 2021-2025, the modification of the ENQA Statutes or the future of the quality assurance of higher education and the role of ENQA in this future development have been discussed at this meeting.
