European Universities
European Universities are transnational alliances that are intended to become the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity and revolutionizing the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. To achieve this important step forward, the European Commission is testing different cooperation models for European Universities with two calls for proposals under the Erasmus+ programme. Andalusian universities have successfully participated in this project leading three of the forty approved consortia: ARQUS (University of Granada), SEA-EU (University of Cádiz) and ULYSSEUS (University of Seville).
These initiatives place Andalusia in the European leadership of university innovation. In order to support the universities in assuring the quality of all the activities and goals proposed in the consortia, DEVA-AAC has set up a working group with representatives of the three universities, which has started its work after a first meeting held on 2 October 2020
